About Us

Carousel Equestrian was founded in 2012 with the intention of providing New Zealand riders, both competitive and recreational, with access to high quality, stylish lambskin equestrian products at prices that won't break the bank.

Twelve years later we are still providing the same great value for money, over a larger range of products.  We are constantly looking at new products to create for our range. 

 

We are a husband and wife team, Johno and Julia, located in Canterbury with our six horses, a German Shepherd, a harrier hound and a cat. Julia is a lawyer, forming Johnston Law in 2023 and Johno is a career fire fighter. 

 

Throughout the winter months you’ll find Julia on the hunt field where she’s also treasurer for the Brackenfield Hunt. 

 

We are usually busy balancing working full time with our animals and Carousel, so we may not respond immediately when you message, but we will get back to you. We have created our designs from scratch from our home in Canterbury, and source the finest first grade lambskin for use in our products.
